After the positive reception our N1 collection received last August, we are pleased to announce a new path forward for LVCIDIA Finery. Our latest collection—N2—releases its first drop on Thursday June 15th at 10AM EST. With the help of our new creative director, we’ve been able to elevate the design of our collection while retaining the same high-end quality. N2 features our most ambitious array of items to date, with a variety of styles and color palettes to choose from. To learn more about this exciting new direction, we spoke with the new Creative Director of Finery: Frank.
The Rebranding of Finery
Designed by our new creative director, LVCIDIA Finery now has an updated logo and brand direction. We wanted to ensure that Finery had its own distinct image, setting it apart from our physical and digital branches. Therefore, our new logo will offer more versatility within the context of a clothing brand. The custom typework showcases LVCIDIA’s desire for innovation, through cutting-edge technological mediums. And the addition of the star glyph in the typographic design symbolizes the limitless possibilities our Finery holds. Creating the right logo was a hard balance to strike, but Frank was enthusiastic to take on the challenge:
“I’ve been doing this for nearly 10 years now, but I always have a blast when it comes to creating custom typework inspired by 60’s typography. I think the final logo represents the brand’s astral direction and lore very well, while also maintaining a very restrained look that doesn’t outshine the garments, or the designs we put on them.”
We’re excited to spread this logo far and wide, until it’s instantly recognizable to everyone under the stars.
Expanding our Offering
With Finery, we continue our pursuit to make LVCIDIA a global brand. Launching our N1 collection last fall was a tremendous undertaking, requiring the development of new production and distribution pipelines. We made no compromises when it came to quality, ensuring every item represented our commitment to superior craftsmanship. Our first collection of Hoodies, T-Shirts, and Sweatshirts received orders from around the globe, with rave reviews from our supporters. Collectors and non-collectors alike were able to bring a piece of LVCIDIA into reality.
N2 represents our next step in providing an otherworldly experience. We’ve maintained the same high quality, while vastly expanding our offerings. Now including caps, tote bags, sweatpants, and more—N2 offers plenty of ways to represent LVCIDIA in style. Speaking on the efforts that bring Finery to life, our creative director Frank provided some insight on his process:
“It’s a lot of trial and error, and also doing a lot of research to really iron out the specific style I’m looking for… something that’s going to be specific to an era, but also specific to a certain social trend. I do a lot of research based on that, so I can produce something that’s really accurate and also culturally relevant. But in general, I would say I wanted to make something that I would personally like, that I would personally wear…and also that is really fitting with [LVCIDIA] lore.”

A New Release Strategy
Unlike our N1 Collection, which featured 6 items released all at once, N2 will be broken up into SIX monthly collections. Released in the middle of every month, these collections will each include 5-6 unique unisex clothing items built around a distinct color palette concept. The choice to break up the collection into monthly releases required careful consideration, and Frank offered his reasoning as to why it’s the best path forward:
“At first we had planned to do one big drop… but we determined doing something recurring would be a better strategy for us. We wanted to have something that feels more interactive, that feels more engaging for the people who purchase our clothing. Just at the moment, I think we have around 35 styles [between all the collections].”
The supply of each item will be lower than it was in N1, so don’t expect anything to last long. All items are first come, first served, no restocks.
